Refrigerant registration & balance
Refrigerant administration in Excel never balances. There's always a 0.5 kg discrepancy somewhere — and that's the finding that gets flagged at a Kiwa audit.
Koldwerk calculates the live balance per refrigerant type. Cylinders, mutations, stock, installations in the field — all automatic. If the discrepancy is more than 0.01 kg (10 grams), you get an alert on the dashboard.

What it does
- Cylinder register with serial number, refrigerant type, capacity, contents, location, status (full / partial / empty / returned).
- Mutation types: purchase, added to installation, recovery, return to supplier, transfer, disposal.
- Live balance per type: purchased / in stock / in installations / recovered / disposed / missing / expected / discrepancy — loss tracked separately from documented disposal.
- GWP values + CO₂-eq calculation for F-gas annual reporting.
- Directly linked to work orders: refrigerant added on a work order → mutation + cylinder update happen automatically.

Frequently asked questions
What if the balance doesn't close?
The dashboard shows a red banner with the exact shortfall/surplus per type. Click through to the mutation history to trace the cause.
Which refrigerant types are supported?
All common types: R32, R410A, R134a, R290, R744 (CO₂), R407C, R454B, R1234yf. You can add custom types.
Can historical mutations be edited?
No — append-only. A correction is made via a counter-mutation so the audit trail stays complete.
